The Pulpdent Porcelain Prep Kit provides everything needed to prepare a porcelain surface for resin cementation in one convenient pack — etch, isolate, silanate, and dry — without juggling separate bottles. Ideal for intraoral porcelain repair and indirect restoration cementation.
What's Included (4 × 1.2 mL Syringes + Tips)
- Porcelain Etch Gel — 9.6% buffered HF acid for porcelain micro-roughening
- Kool-Dam — light-cured resin barrier to protect soft tissue and adjacent teeth from HF acid
- Pulpdent Silane — single-component silane coupling agent for porcelain-resin bond
- Dry-Rite — porcelain surface conditioner / drying agent
- Applicator tips for precise placement of each component
How To Use
- Apply Kool-Dam to isolate soft tissue and adjacent teeth from HF acid contact; light-cure 20 sec
- Apply Porcelain Etch Gel for 60–90 sec (feldspathic) or 20 sec (lithium disilicate)
- Rinse thoroughly, air-dry
- Apply Pulpdent Silane to the etched porcelain, air-dry 30 sec
- Apply Dry-Rite if needed to fully dry the surface
- Apply bonding agent and seat the restoration with resin cement
- Remove Kool-Dam after cementation is complete
Caution: Hydrofluoric acid is corrosive. Always use Kool-Dam or rubber dam isolation when working intraorally.
