Pressure Indicating Paste (PIP) is a pure white silicone paste used to evaluate the seating of crowns, bridges, and full, immediate, or partial dentures. This simple and efficient procedure delivers clear, easy-to-read, and highly reliable results—outperforming traditional chemical-set pressure indicating materials commonly used to identify areas of denture discomfort.

PIP is applied to the dry denture surface, while the companion PIP spray is applied to the tissue. The denture is then seated under pressure and removed. Areas where the paste has been displaced clearly indicate points of excessive pressure, allowing for precise adjustment and improved patient comfort.
