Description

PCxx™ 2.0% Sodium Fluoride Neutral Topical Gel is a professional in-office fluoride treatment for caries prevention and remineralization of demineralized enamel. The 2.0% sodium fluoride formula delivers a high concentration of fluoride ion at a neutral pH that's safe for porcelain restorations, composites, sealants, and orthodontic brackets — unlike acidulated (APF) gels.

If You Currently Use…

NUPRO® 2% Neutral Sodium Fluoride Gel (Dentsply Sirona) or Sultan Topex® 2% Neutral NaF — the PCxx Neutral Gel is the direct equivalent professional fluoride treatment, at a lower cost per ounce.

Key Features

  • 2.0% sodium fluoride — delivers 9,050 ppm fluoride ion
  • Neutral pH — safe for porcelain crowns, composites, sealants, titanium implants, and orthodontic brackets (APF gels can etch porcelain)
  • Raspberry Blast flavor — patient-pleasing taste improves compliance and tray-time experience
  • Thixotropic gel viscosity — stays in tray, minimizes drip and ingestion risk
  • 16.6 fl oz (475 mL) bottle — approximately 100+ tray applications
  • Color-coded label for fast chairside identification

Indications

  • Routine in-office fluoride treatment (prophylaxis appointments)
  • Caries prevention in high-risk patients (orthodontic, xerostomia, root caries)
  • Treatment of dentinal hypersensitivity
  • Remineralization of early enamel demineralization (white spot lesions)
  • Patients with porcelain restorations, composites, or sealants (where APF is contraindicated)

How To Use

  1. Complete prophylaxis and rinse the patient's mouth
  2. Dispense a thin ribbon of gel into upper and lower fluoride trays (fill no more than 40% to minimize swallowing)
  3. Insert both trays simultaneously and instruct patient to bite gently
  4. Use saliva ejector throughout the treatment
  5. Leave trays in place for 4 minutes
  6. Remove trays, evacuate excess gel with HVE
  7. Instruct patient not to eat, drink, or rinse for 30 minutes

Caution: Not for ingestion. Keep out of reach of children. Manufactured by Ross Healthcare (PCxx Professional Care Products line).
