The NIC Hand H (Hedstrom) File is a nickel-titanium (niti) hand-use endodontic instrument with helical cutting design and NiTi flexibility for filing motion in curved canals. The spiraled NiTi flutes combine aggressive linear cutting with the flexibility needed for curved canal anatomy. Ideal for retreatment and finishing in curved canals where stainless H-Files would be too rigid.

How To Use
- H-Files are designed for filing motion ONLY — never rotate clockwise (risk of fracture)
- Use after K-Files have established patency and width
- Insert to working length and apply linear pull-back motion against canal wall
- Excellent for removing hard tissue, gutta-percha, and during retreatment
- Step sizes in 0.5–1 ISO increments to maintain control
