EBIKO digital X-ray sensor sleeves are clear, disposable barrier sleeves that cover a dental X-ray sensor and part of its cable. They are also called sensor sheaths or sensor covers. Three sizes from 1.5 × 8 in to 2.5 × 10 in, 500 sleeves per box for C$8.99, about 1.8 cents per sleeve.

To choose a size, measure the widest part of your sensor, including where the cable joins it. Pick a sleeve that is wider, with room to spare, so the sensor slides in without stretching the sleeve. If you are between sizes, order one box and test the fit before buying more.

Which sleeve size fits a size 2 sensor?
It depends on your sensor's outside dimensions, not its size number. Sensor size numbers do not tell you the outside width, which differs between sensor makers. Measure your sensor and compare it with the sleeve widths above: 1.5 in, 1.8 in or 2.5 in.
Are sensor sleeves the same as barrier envelopes?

Are sensor sleeves disposable?
Yes. Use a new sleeve for each patient.
Do I still need to clean the sensor between patients?

Check before you order a larger quantity. A sleeve adds a little thickness, so make sure the covered sensor still fits your holder or positioner.
