Description
Ultrasonic Cleaning Tablets make a measured, non-enzymatic cleaning solution for dental instruments in an ultrasonic cleaner. One tablet makes about 3.2 L of solution, and a 4–6 L tank takes two. Each box holds 64 individually wrapped tablets.
Key Features
- Non-enzymatic formula
- Pre-measured dose: 1 tablet per 3.2 L, 2 tablets per 4–6 L
- Non-foaming and chlorine-free
- Non-corrosive, neutral pH 6.5–7.5
- 64 individually wrapped tablets per box
Directions
- Fill the tank with water and add 1 tablet for a standard 3.2 L tank, or 2 tablets for a 4–6 L tank.
- Hand-clean residual debris off the instruments, place them in the basket without overloading it, close the lid, and run the cleaner for at least 10 minutes. For tough stains, add 5 minutes or more.
- Rinse off product residue with water, dry and inspect the instruments, then continue with packaging and sterilization.
- Replace the solution daily. CDHO’s IPAC Guidelines (2024) say cleaning solutions “must be discarded at the end of each day, or more frequently, if they become soiled or cloudy”.
Check that the tablets suit your ultrasonic unit and instruments before use. They are for cleaning only and do not replace disinfection or sterilization. Overnight soaking of instruments is not recommended. Do not ingest. Store in a cool, dry place.
