GC Fuji I (Gold Label) Glass Ionomer Luting Cement
A conventional, self-cure glass ionomer luting cement for the permanent cementation of metal-based restorations, pairing chemical adhesion to tooth structure with sustained fluoride release.
Key features
- Chemically bonds to enamel, dentin, and metal substructures for a marginal seal without a separate bonding agent
- Sustained fluoride release from the set cement
- Very low film thickness allows complete seating of well-fitting crowns, bridges, inlays, and onlays
- Thin, smooth mix with good flow that wets prepared surfaces evenly
- Snap set gives a defined working-to-set transition and quick excess removal
- Biocompatible, self-curing chemistry requires no light activation
Indications
- Permanent cementation of metal and porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) crowns and bridges
- Cementation of metal inlays and onlays
- Cementation of posts
- Bonding of orthodontic bands and appliances
- Not intended for adhesive cementation of silica-based (glass) ceramic restorations
Directions
- Dispense powder and liquid at the recommended ratio and mix to a smooth, glossy consistency within the stated working time
- Apply a thin, even layer to the internal surface of the restoration and seat immediately under firm pressure
- Hold the restoration in place and remove excess cement at the gel stage, then maintain seating until fully set
