Description
The EBIKO Diamond Twist Composite Polisher is a spiral polishing brush designed for high-luster polishing of composite and resin restorations. The radial spiral bristle geometry provides intermittent multi-point contact with the tooth surface, adapting to occlusal anatomy and reaching into pits and fissures that flat or cup-shaped polishers can't.

- Three grits, color-coded — Blue Coarse / Pink Medium / Yellow Fine
- RA (latch-type) mandrel — fits all standard slow-speed contra-angle handpieces
- Diamond-impregnated resin-bonded abrasive for efficient polishing
- Recommended speed: 5,000–10,000 RPM (slow-speed contra-angle, light pressure)
- Autoclavable at 134 °C for re-use (single-use recommended for infection control)
- 6 brushes per pack
Grit Selection & Workflow
- Blue · Coarse — pre-polishing, removes finishing bur marks (use first)
- Pink · Medium — intermediate polish (use second)
- Yellow · Fine — high-luster final polish (use last)
How To Use
- Complete contouring with carbide finishing burs or diamonds
- Mount the Blue Coarse brush in a slow-speed contra-angle
- Apply light pressure at 5,000–10,000 RPM with water spray; use intermittent touch-and-lift on occlusal surfaces
- Switch to Pink Medium brush; repeat
- Finish with Yellow Fine brush for high-luster polish
- For best results, finish with a diamond polishing paste
- Dispose after each patient or sterilize (autoclave 134 °C)
Indications: Polishing of direct composite restorations, compomers, ormocers, and glass ionomer surfaces. Especially effective on occlusal and lingual surfaces where conventional cup-shaped polishers can't reach.
