Description
The GP Remover Spear is a single-ended endodontic hand instrument used in root canal retreatment. Its fine, pre-bent spear-pointed tip is designed to engage and lift softened gutta-percha and small apical foreign bodies once the filling has been softened with heat, solvent, ultrasonics or rotary retreatment files.
- Pre-bent, spear-pointed working tip with a 360° edge, so it cuts and scrapes at any rotational angle without repositioning the instrument
- Rounded cutting edge intended to follow the canal and help reduce gouging of the canal wall
- Hardened stainless steel working tip set into a lightweight, colour-coded anodized aluminium handle with a knurled grip
- Available in three tip diameters (0.3, 0.5 and 0.7 mm) and two working lengths — 21 mm (S) and 28 mm (L) — for six variants in total
- Autoclavable at 134°C
- Supplied one piece per bag
