Description
The NIC GF File is NIC’s flagship patented rotary system (US Patent No. 11,013,577 B2) featuring gradient flexibility — progressive flexibility transition from coronal to apical, allowing one file to behave differently along its length to match the changing demands of the canal.
What Makes GF Unique
Unlike standard rotary files where flexibility is uniform along the shaft, the GF File is engineered with gradient flexibility: more rigid at the coronal/middle for cutting power, more flexible at the apical for canal-following behaviour. The Archimedes’ spiral geometry self-centers the file in the canal and gives clinicians accurate tactile feedback from the file tip — a true expression of the root canal morphology.
Key Features
- Patented gradient flexibility — progressive coronal-to-apical flexibility transition
- Archimedes’ spiral movement — file self-centers in canal
- Depth marking area — keeps the file centered and conducts axial force efficiently
- Gold heat-treatment — high cyclic-fatigue resistance
- Sequential shaping — reduces difficulty in small/curved canals
- Z3 25/.06 finishing file — taper confirmation, precise GP match
- Three working lengths — 21 mm, 25 mm, 31 mm (SX 19 mm)
- Autoclavable, multi-use, 6 files per pack
How To Use
- Scout and explore with SS K-File #10/#15
- SX (19/.04, 19 mm) — orifice opening
- T (17/.02) — glide path
- Z1 (20/.04), Z2 (20/.06), Z3 (25/.06) — sequential shaping
- Run at 400–450 RPM in continuous rotation
- Match obturation to Z3 (25/.06) GP point
