Description

The NIC Hand Spreader File is a nickel-titanium (niti) hand-use endodontic instrument with NiTi flexibility for lateral condensation in curved canals. The NiTi alloy enables deep, controlled lateral compaction in curved canals where SS spreaders would risk vertical fracture. Recommended for curved canal obturation.

Key Features

  • Material: Nickel-titanium (NiTi)
  • ISO color-coded for fast chairside identification
  • Pre-sterilized blister pack available — single-use option for infection control
  • Compression-fit shank with electropolished cutting flutes
  • Three working lengths — 21 mm, 25 mm, 31 mm
  • Autoclavable at 121 °C / 15 min or 134 °C / 3–5 min
  • 6 files per pack

ISO Color Codes

  • 06 Pink · 08 Grey · 10 Purple · 15 White · 20 Yellow · 25 Red · 30 Blue · 35 Green · 40 Black · 45 White · 50 Yellow · 55 Red · 60 Blue

How To Use

  1. Used during lateral condensation gutta-percha obturation
  2. Insert into canal alongside master cone, apply apical pressure to compact GP laterally
  3. Withdraw and immediately place accessory cone in space created
  4. Hand spreaders are tapered for precise, controlled lateral compaction
  5. Match spreader size to canal diameter — finer sizes for narrow canals

NIC Quality

NIC files are 100% compliant with ISO standards (accuracy ± 0.02 mm), produced by Shenzhen Superline Technology — a premium endodontic instruments manufacturer since 2002. CE 0197, FDA-cleared, ISO 13485 quality system.
