Description

The NIC DT Gold File is a heat-treated nickel-titanium pediatric rotary file system designed specifically for primary-tooth endodontic treatment. Featuring Max Tech 3.0 processing — yielding a distinctive gold appearance for efficient cutting — the file delivers safe, efficient, anatomy-respecting canal preparation in deciduous teeth.

Pediatric Endo Use

The 16 mm short working length is purpose-built for primary teeth and pediatric patients. Designed to reduce chair time and minimize patient anxiety while delivering predictable, biologically-respectful canal preparation.

Key Features

  • Max Tech 3.0 heat-treated NiTi (Gold) — efficient cutting with cyclic-fatigue resistance
  • Pediatric-specific 16 mm working length — short shaft for primary teeth
  • Two taper options — .04 (DT4) for conservative shaping, .06 (DT6) for more aggressive coronal flare
  • Four ISO sizes (20, 25, 30, 35) plus 20–35 assortment pack
  • Color-coded ISO ring
  • Autoclavable at 121 °C / 15 min or 134 °C / 3–5 min
  • 6 files per pack

How To Use

  1. Establish patency with hand files appropriate for pediatric tooth length
  2. Use DT4 (.04) for conservative shaping of narrow primary canals
  3. Use DT6 (.06) for wider primary molars or final coronal flare
  4. Run in continuous rotation, low RPM (300–500), low torque
  5. Pair with NIC DT Blue for severely curved primary canals

ISO Sizes & Color Codes

  • 20 — Yellow
  • 25 — Red
  • 30 — Blue
  • 35 — Green
  • 20–35 Assortment — full sequence pack (per taper)
